Know the difference between "your" and "you're", "than" and "then", and "they're", "there", and "their".

Use them properly. Please.

Did I forget any? What are your writing pet peeves?

Mine is when people say "literally" when it clearly it is NOT literal. Like "I was so embarrassed, I literally died."

'Myriad' used as an adjective rather than the correct phrase a 'myriad of' something. Drives me crazy, and it even shows up in reputable magazines and newspapers now (NY Times, anyone?) where editors out to know better even if the writers don't. Grrrr.....
